A Bit More Playful & Focused on the Humorous Start

And just like that, Ellia is a 6th grader! After much prayer and debate, we finally left the big school decision up to her. She’d seen the homeschool life last year, but her heart (and those happy tears on the way to orientation!) screamed for school! 🤣

Her first day kicked off with a classic start: a 5:45 AM wake-up for a bus that decided not to show up (our district was on a different schedule, oops!). But hey, it meant extra photos, a special cow-working hug from Daddy, a family prayer for her year, a gorgeous sunrise, and a carpool with all her favorite people. Not a bad way to get to school, honestly!

This girl thrives on friendship, and we absolutely adore watching our social butterfly spread her wings! 🦋 As she navigates middle school, our biggest prayer is that she roots her worth in Christ, not in the shifting sands of popularity or possessions. ❤️

Over in our homeschool corner, Tessa (4th) and Aubrie (2nd) are experiencing the full spectrum of CHAOS, FREEDOM, and yes, some TEARS. But also, SO much more time for play! (Stay tuned for the epic homeschool saga post! 🤪)

Wishing everyone a fantastic 2025/2026 school year, whatever learning looks like in your home! 🚌🍎
